A commonplace book is a personal collection of quotations, anecdotes, observations, links to articles, poems, etc. that I come across during my reading and want to save for easy access later.

For information on keeping a commonplace book, check out http://thoughtcatalog.com/ryan-holiday/2013/08/how-and-why-to-keep-a-commonplace-book/. I highly recommend TiddlyWiki for storing them, which is how I run this site. If you use ~TiddlyWiki, you can simply 'drag and drop' pages from my website to yours.
