My name is Austin Thomas Storm
Austin - from Augustine, meaning noble, venerable. My mother was an elementary school teacher and like many teachers was limited in her name choices by prior associations from same-named students. She had not had a student named "Austin", making it a good candidate. My parents also said they liked Texas and that I was named after the city of Austin, but I'm not sure how much they were joking...
Thomas - the Apostle, 'doubting Thomas' - skeptical. After my father, Thomas Lawrence.
Together, "noble doubter"?
