Real-estate Development, 2013-2015
A historic building in downtown Moscow, Idaho which we redeveloped from an empty office building into a mixed-use space which now hosts a variety of new, independent restaurants.

There are a lot of things I would change if I could do it over again, but this is a lovely spot for a restaurant

Real estate development isn't for the faint of heart! I don't still have nightmares about this one, but I also sometimes forget that I did it - it feels like a very long out-of-body experience. It took two years of a lot of sleepless nights and stomach ulcers to turn a mid-century office building into a mixed-use development that hosts two restaurants - both of which are still going five years later.

What made it worthwhile was the lifetime of education I received, and the faith of our investors. In the end, the project was a success and I lived to fight another day.
